Empowher Health & Wellness is a self-pay practice. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged through a membership plan.Patients may choose to use insurance independently for eligible prescriptions, laboratory testing, or other outside services when applicable.

No. New-patient consultations are billed separately.The initial consultation allows time for a complete medical history, symptom review, medication review, risk assessment, and development of an individualized treatment plan.
Appointments are completed through a secure telehealth platform.Before your appointment, you may be asked to complete intake forms, provide your medical history, upload recent laboratory results, and submit other information needed for your evaluation.
Hormone therapy may be considered for appropriate patients experiencing symptoms related to perimenopause, menopause, or other hormone-related concerns.Treatment is individualized and may require laboratory testing and ongoing monitoring.
Testosterone therapy may be discussed when clinically appropriate and within applicable prescribing requirements.Treatment is never guaranteed and requires individualized evaluation, informed consent, appropriate monitoring, and follow-up.
Yes, however weight-loss medications are prescribed only when medically appropriate.Medical weight-management visits may include a review of medical history, weight-related concerns, nutrition and lifestyle factors, previous weight-loss attempts, and medication options when appropriate.Prescription weight-loss medications are not included in the cost of your visit or membership.
Prescriptions may be sent to your preferred pharmacy or, when appropriate, to a specialty or compounding pharmacy.Pharmacy availability and pricing may vary.
Possibly.Although Empowher Health & Wellness does not bill insurance for office visits, your insurance may cover certain outside laboratory tests or prescription medications depending on your individual plan.Coverage is determined by your insurance company and is not guaranteed.
Patients should cancel or reschedule appointments as early as possible.Late cancellations and missed appointments will be subject to a fee. Specific cancellation and no-show terms are provided at the time of scheduling and in patient policies.
