Refund Policy
Empowher Health and Wellness is committed to transparent pricing and fair billing practices. Because appointments reserve dedicated provider time and many products are customized or ordered specifically for an individual patient, refund eligibility depends on the type of payment and whether the service or order has been completed.
Appointment Deposits
A $50 booking deposit is required to reserve an appointment and will be applied toward the total visit fee.

Booking deposits are nonrefundable.

When an appointment is canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice, the deposit may be transferred one time to a rescheduled appointment completed within 30 days.

Deposits are forfeited for cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment.

Deposits are forfeited when a patient does not attend the appointment.

A new deposit is required when scheduling another appointment after a deposit has been forfeited.

If Empowher Health and Wellness cancels an appointment and cannot offer a suitable alternative, the patient may transfer the deposit or request a full refund.

Documented emergencies, significant technical failures, and other exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually at the practice’s discretion.
Completed Appointments and Professional Services
Fees for completed consultations, follow-up visits, medical evaluations, chart reviews, laboratory interpretations, administrative services, and other professional services are nonrefundable once the service has been provided.

Payment covers the provider’s professional time, evaluation, and clinical decision-making. It does not guarantee a prescription, medication, specific treatment, desired result, or eligibility for a requested therapy. A consultation fee will not be refunded solely because treatment or medication is not recommended or prescribed.

Membership Payments
Membership enrollment fees and monthly membership payments are governed by the Membership Agreement.
​
Membership payments are generally nonrefundable once processed, including when the patient does not use all available membership benefits during a billing period. Cancellation of a membership does not eliminate charges owed under the agreed six-month commitment or other previously authorized charges.

Billing errors and duplicate charges will be reviewed and corrected when verified.
Medications and Compounded Prescriptions
Medication and compounded-prescription payments are nonrefundable after the order has been submitted to the dispensing pharmacy, except when required by law or when the pharmacy accepts cancellation.

Medication orders cannot generally be returned, exchanged, or refunded because of pharmacy regulations, safety requirements, temperature-control concerns, shipping delays outside the practice’s control, personal preference, lack of use, adverse effects, or changes in the patient’s treatment plan.

If an order arrives damaged, incorrect, or unusable, the patient must promptly contact Empowher Health and Wellness. The practice will coordinate with the dispensing pharmacy, but replacement or refund eligibility will be determined according to the circumstances and the pharmacy’s policy.

Medication Shipping
Prescription and compounded medications are shipped directly to the patient by the dispensing pharmacy.

Empowher Health & Wellness does not physically package or ship prescription medications.
​
Estimated shipping or delivery dates are not guaranteed.
​
Once a medication has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery may be affected by circumstances outside the control of Empowher Health & Wellness, including weather, carrier delays, incorrect addresses, or other transportation issues.
​
Patients are responsible for providing an accurate and current shipping address before a medication order is submitted.
Laboratory Testing
Laboratory-related charges are nonrefundable after the order has been processed, a specimen has been collected, or testing has begun.

The patient is responsible for confirming insurance coverage and laboratory pricing directly with the laboratory when charges will be billed by an outside laboratory. Empowher Health and Wellness is not responsible for charges assessed independently by an outside laboratory.

Supplements and Other Products
Purchases made directly from an outside or third-party vendor are governed by that vendor’s return and refund policy.

Products purchased directly through Empowher Health and Wellness cannot be returned or refunded after shipment or delivery unless the product is damaged, defective, or incorrect. Any concern must be reported promptly and may require photographs or return of the product.

Shipping charges are nonrefundable unless the refund results from an error by the practice or dispensing vendor.
Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
Patients should notify Empowher Health and Wellness promptly if they believe a charge is incorrect. Verified duplicate payments, processing errors, or unauthorized charges will be corrected or refunded as appropriate.

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval. Refund requests will be evaluated according to this policy, applicable agreements, payment-processor requirements, pharmacy or vendor policies, and applicable law.

Important Medication Payment Notice
Payment for medication does not replace the requirement for an appropriate medical evaluation.
​
Prescriptions are issued only when medically appropriate.
​
The dispensing pharmacy prepares and ships prescription medications directly to the patient. Empowher Health & Wellness collects the applicable medication payment from the patient and remits payment to the pharmacy on the patient’s behalf.
​
Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method.
​
Processing time depends on the payment processor and the patient’s financial institution.
​
Empowher Health and Wellness cannot control how quickly a bank or card issuer posts the refunded amount.
